With the season nearing its end, we have had some fabulous

achievements, within our junior section!  Here are just a few!

Our U18’s have one home game only remaining against Pilks Recs on

Sunday  6th April. Congratulations to Scott Ellam who was successful in the

recent Lancashire Trials at Leigh East!

Also our U16’s have one home game only remaining against Portico this

Sunday 30th March.

If both teams win these games, it means they will both finish in 2nd place in their respective league tables!

 

 

Our U15’s still with a few games to play, are currently 4th in their table. They have a home game on Tues 1st April against Haydock 6pm K.O. please come along and support them! They are also looking forward to touring Paris in France at the end of May!

Our U14’s  are currently 6th in their table, also with a few games remaining, who knows where they will finish.  The U14’s impressive National Cup run came to an end recently, when they were beaten by Kells at home in the 1/4 Final Stage. Well Done lads for getting so far! Congratulations also to Ben Currie and Greg Wilde who have been chosen to represent Wigan and Leigh Service Area this year, who knows what it may lead to! This team will also be touring France (the Bordeaux region) in May!

Our U12’s have just made the final of the Development Cup! Venue is

Blackpool Fylde RUFC on 27th April K.O. 12pm Their opponents will be

Haresfinch Hawks. “Good luck lads, lets hope you come back with a piece of

silverwear for the trophy cabinet!”

Our U11’s have now settled down and are getting some wins, they are looking forward to a more competitive season next year!

Our U10’s are now looking smart in their new tracksuits, which have just

arrived. They’ve just signed 4 new players and increased their squad size.

Our U9’s and U8’s have just played in the Half Time Mini League Games, at the JJB during last Monday’s Wigan v Hull KR Match. Before the K.O. some of the kids in both teams enjoyed the JJB Stadium Tour.  A wonderful day was had by all, and they’re looking forward to their next JJB appearance on Sun 22nd June 2008!  NEW PLAYERS WELCOME AT ALL AGE GROUPS!
